Actemra Information
Actemra is a recombinant humanized-monoclonal anti-body that is used against IL-6R (interleukin-6 receptor. It is used for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis which is moderate to severe in nature. It is effective in patients who do not respond adequately to 1 or more TNF-antagonist therapy. The generic drug is used as immune-suppressive drug.
