Angeliq is used for the treatment of vasomotor symptoms (that are moderate to severe in severity) in women, which is associated with menopause. The drug is also used for treating the symptoms (moderate to severe in severity) of vaginal atrophy as well as vulvar atrophy that is associated with menopause. The generic drug is a combination drug. The components of the drug are naturally occurring hormones that help in relieving the menopausal symptoms.
