Efudex cream is a 5-FU (that is fluorouracil) drug. It is an analog of pyrimidine. It is used for the treatment of solar keratoses (skin growth that is caused due to exposure to sun-light) as well as multiple actinic keratoses. It is an anti-neoplastic drug and is also used for treating cancer. The drug is used in the form of a cream and is meant for topical administration only.
