Faslodex is a drug which is generally used to block the estrogen in our body. Certain types of breast carcinoma need this estrogen for the growth of their cancer cells. The drug is usually used for the treatment of hormone receptor metastatic carcinoma of postmenopausal women whose carcinoma has been spread in the body already following the treatment with other anti estrogen drugs.
