Ilaris is a drug used to treat some rare genetic Cryopyrin-Associated Periodic Syndromes (CAPS), like Familial Cold Autoinflammatory Syndrome (FCAS) and Muckle-Wells Syndrome (MWS) in adults and children above 4 years. FCAS is an autosomal dominant syndrome characterized by episodes of fever rashes and joint pains on generalized cold exposure. MWS is also a rare autosomal dominant syndrome characterised by urticaria-deafness and amyloidosis. Individuals with MWS often have episodic fever, chills, and painful joints. Ilaris Side Effects and Precautions
