Malarone is an anti malarial drug that is used for treating cases of malaria. It is a combination of Atovaquone and Proguanil that is used to treat malaria caused by falciparum malaria parasites. It is used in patients who are resistant to mefloquine, chloroquine, halofantrine and amodiaquine.
