Mestinon is referred to as an inhibitor of reversible cholinesterase. Also, it is a para-sympathomimetic drug. It is a prescription drug. It is used for the treatment of patients with a condition called myasthenia gravis (MG). The drug inhibits the acetyl-cholinesterase which is located at the synaptic cleft.
