Nevanac Information

Nevanac belongs to a group of drugs called NSAIDs. It is basically a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug. It is very helpful in reducing irritation and inflammation in the eyes. Doctors normally prescribe it after a cataract surgery. Always ask a doctor if the patient is facing diabetes, hemophilia, arthritis, dry eye syndrome or allergic to any drugs and eye drops. It is advisable not to use this drug while wearing a contact lens. Contact lenses are so soft that they absorb the essential preservatives contained in this drug. Wait for at least 15 to 20 minutes after using cheap Nevanac before wearing your contact lens.

Nevanac Side Effects and Precautions

Eye infection is a typical side effect of using discount Nevanac (also known as Nepafenac). Some patients may experience headaches and nausea. Red eyes are common while using this drug. Go for a medical checkup if you see the signs of severe allergic reaction like swelling on face, difficulty in breathing, hives, mouth swelling, throat infection etc. An eye doctor should be contacted in case you have vision problems, drainage of eyes, irritation in eyes, swollen eyelids, severe eye pain and inflammation, after using this generic drug.

Some other side effects of Nepafenac include: sinus inflammation, dryness in eyes and they get sticky, patient will get feeling like something is in his eye, increased sensitivity to light, vomiting, eyelid crusting, increased tear production, dizziness, bleeding. Dosage Information for Nevanac

Apply one drop of Nevanac in the affected eye thrice a day. If undergoing a cataract surgery, start applying it 1 day prior to surgery and on the day of surgery. Then continue through the first 2 weeks. It can also be administered with other topical ophthalmic medications. 3 mL of Nevanac is supplied in a 4 mL bottle.
