Pradaxa Information
Pradaxa is used as an anti-coagulant to prevent stroke in patients suffering from atrial fibrillation and other cardiac abnormalities. It is a relatively new drug which is a long term anticoagulant. In knee and hip surgery patients, it is used to prevent post-operative blood clots. Cheap Pradaxa directly suppresses the important enzyme, thrombin causing delayed clot formation. For hip replacement patients, the treatment is continued for 10 days, whereas for knee replacement, it is continued for 28 days.
