Proamatine is a drug that is referred to as a vasopressor. It is used for the treatment of hypotension. The drug is used to treat the symptoms of orthostatic hypotension. The drug is used in those patients whose condition is not clinically controlled by fluid expansion, support stockings (or non-pharmacologic treatment) or lifestyle changes.
