Retrovir Information
Retrovir is used to treat AIDS all over the world. It represses the production of immunodeficiency virus (HIV) in our body. It prevents the virus from multiplying in our body. It is also supplied to the HIV positive pregnant women, to stop the virus that may pass into the fetus from the mother's body. This drug is a nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor which inhibits an important enzyme reverse transcriptase to prevent the multiplication of the virus cell in the patient's body. Retrovir Side Effects and Precautions
The general side effects of discount Retrovir are a few allergic reactions like swelling of your tongue, face, lips, or throat, difficulty breathing, hives etc. If there are appearances of a few severe side effects like headache, fatigue, vomiting, loss of appetite, nausea, liver damage, dark urine, stomach pain, clay-colored stools, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes) in patients' body they are recommended to consult their doctor urgently. Dosage Information for Retrovir
The recommended dose of Retrovir for adult is 600 mg daily whereas pediatric patients are supplied this as per their body weight and age. Children of between 4 to 9 kg are supplied by 24 mg/kg/day, between 9 to 30 kg by 18 mg/kg/day and more than 30 kg is supplied by 600 mg per day.
