Vexol Information

Vexol belongs to a group of drugs known as corticosteroids. This generic drug is used for treating inflammatory disorders such as uvetitis which occur in the eyes. It helps mainly in decreasing the pain and swelling of inflammatory conditions. Cheap Vexol is also used in certain eye surgeries during the post operative management. Due to its anti-inflammatory action, this drug may cause some adverse effects. The drug is used for the treatment of eye inflammation which may be caused due to injury, infections, surgery or any other medical conditions. Usage of this drug will require a prescription from your doctor.

Vexol Side Effects and Precautions

The dosage should be reduced over several days before stopping the use of Rimexolone, in order to prevent any side effects. The dropper should not be touched to any surface, such as your eyes or hands. The dropper must be sterilised as it may cause an eye infection if contaminated. It is advised not to use discount Vexol if you have viral, fungal or bacterial infection in eye. First, you are required to receive proper anti- infection treatment.

There are no serious side effects of using Rimexolone. In very rare cases it is reported to cause formation of cataracts, increased pressure inside the eyes or perforations of the cornea. More common side effects include irritation, burning, redness, blurred vision, stinging, itching and light sensitivity.

Dosage Information for Vexol

Vexol is available in stores as 1% eye drops. It comes in the form of an ophthalmic suspension. It is recommended to take 1 or 2 drops in the conjunctiva of an affected eye, once every six hours. The first dose should be taken 24 hours after the surgery. For anterior uveitis patients, it is recommended to take one or two drops in the affected eye every hour during the first week, and after that it should be applied every 2 hours.
