Xalatan Eye Drops Information

Xalatan Eye Drops are used for treating glaucoma which is a disorder of the eye. It is mainly caused due to the fluid buildup in the eye. If it is not treated then it may lead to loss of sight. This generic drug belongs to a group of drugs known as prostaglandin agonists or prostaglandin analogues. Cheap Xalatan Eye Drops increases the amount of fluid which drains out from the eye and helps in reducing the pressure inside the eye. It is also used for treating other causes of high pressure in the eye. It should not be given to children.

Xalatan Eye Drops Side Effects and Precautions

Some serious side effects of using Latanoprost include swelling, oozing, vision changes, increased sensitivity to light, redness, chest pain, itching, discharge from eye, pain in and around the eye. Xalatan Eye Drops bottle contains 2.5 ml liquid solution. Its recommended dose is 1 drop in the infected eye once a day. In case you miss a dose then do not double your next dose. Just take the next dose as usual. Exceeding a single dose may not reduce the high pressure inside the eye. It normally takes approximately eight to twelve hours to show its full effect.
