Xyntha is used for the treatment or prevention of bleeding episodes in patients suffering from hemophilia. This medicine contains antihemophilic factor. This factor is a naturally occurring protein and is present in the blood. This protein helps the blood in clotting. Hemophilia A is caused by the lack of antihemophilic factor VIII.
