Zyrtec D Information
Zyrtec D is an anti-histamine drug of second generation. It is a selective inverse-agonist of H1 receptor. It is used for treating the nasal decongestion. It is indicated to provide relief from the non-nasal as well as nasal symptoms which are associated with seasonal/ perennial allergic rhinitis. The generic drug is indicated for use in children > 12 years of age and adults. The drug acts by selectively inhibiting the H1 receptors. The drug exerts an effect of decongestion by acting upon the nasal mucosa. Thus, the drug controls the symptoms medicated by histamine, such as a runny nose, itching, watery eyes or sneezing. Zyrtec D Side Effects and Precautions
