Mentax Information

Mentax is an anti-fungal drug. It is synthetic benzylamine. The drug is used topically in the treatment of several dermatologic infections. These infections may include interdigital tinea-pedis, tinea versicolor, tinea corporis or tinea cruris. The drug is not recommended for patients who are immunocompromised. Generic drug acts by inhibiting the biosynthesis of ergosterol, which is an important element of the cell membrane of a fungus. This inhibition leads to increase in the cellular permeability, resulting in leakage of the contents of the cell. Thus the drug induces an anti-fungal effect. Cheap Mentax can be bought at reputed pharmacy stores with a doctor’s prescription.

Mentax Side Effects and Precautions

Rare side effects of Butenafine are swelling, oozing, stinging, itching, burning or blistering of the skin. Also, you may experience several signs of irritation on the skin, which may appear only after you begin the treatment. The drug may also lead to peeling or dryness of the skin.
