Inspra Information

Inspra is a medication used alone or is combined with other drugs called antihypertensives to treat high blood pressure. It works by blocking a chemical called aldosterone in the body. This action lowers the amount of excess sodium and water in the body. Lowering high blood pressure thus helps prevent strokes, heart attacks and kidney diseases. It is also used to treat a heart failure which follows a heart attack as a selective aldosterone receptor antagonist. Inspra and its generic form may be more advantageous than currently available non-selective aldosterone antagonists. Now obtaining cheap Inspra has become hassle-free as there are stores which deliver the drug at your doorstep.

Inspra Side Effects and Precautions

While on Eplerenone, do not take potassium supplements or any salt substitutes that contain potassium without talking to your doctor as this medicine can raise your potassium levels, which may cause serious side effects like muscle weakness or very slow/irregular heartbeats. Tell your doctor immediately if these effects occur.

Headaches, head spinning, chest pain or increase in certain hormonal levels may be side effects of Eplerenone. Headache, stomach pain, loose stools, nausea, coughs or flu-like symptoms may also be caused by Inspra. Contact your doctor immediately if you notice up rashes, itching, itching /swelling of face, vaginal bleeding, sore painful breasts in males, etc. Ask your doctor if it is suitable for you to buy Inspra.

Dosage Information For Inspra

In case of heart failure following a heart attack, initial treatment of Inspra comprises of 25 mg given once daily and then brought up to a titration of 50 mg once a day. Hypertension patients can take 50 mg of the drug once daily. Wait for 1 month to know the effects. The dose should not be raised to above 100 mg due to the risk of developing hyperkalaemia (increased potassium concentration of blood). 25 mg and 50 mg of discount Inspra are available at North drug Mart.
