Shipping Update – January 2022

Shipping times are now closer to normal. However, due to the latest outbreak of the highly contagious Omicron strain, we are anticipating some potential delays in our shipping times. We will provide updates as the situation changes.

Our normal shipping time averages 1 - 2 weeks. Shipments may now sometimes take an additional 2 – 4 weeks to arrive, depending on the source country of your order. Shipments from the United Kingdom and Canada are generally quicker than from other countries.

Please note that these times are averages and individual shipping times will vary. We highly recommend that you place your order at least 2 – 4 weeks or more ahead of your normal reorder time to avoid running out of your medication.

We offer a shipping guarantee when you place an order with us. If your order does not arrive within 6 weeks from the date it was shipped, we will re-ship your order to you at no additional cost.

Call Center – New Hours effective January 17, 2022

Our new call center hours of operation are now 7:00 am – 7:00 pm Central Time, seven days per week.

These changes are due to staffing issues we are experiencing caused by the highly contagious Omicron variant. We anticipate that we will expand our call center hours again within the next 2 – 3 weeks.

If you are experiencing increased hold times or are calling outside of these hours, please leave us a message or send us an email and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Due to increased demand on telephone networks worldwide, you may experience some intermittent connection problems. If this happens our agents will call you back.

If you have any questions about any changes in our service please do not hesitate to contact us. Our staff are working tirelessly to ensure the timely fulfillment and delivery of all orders. Optivar Information

Optivar is an antihistaminic eye drop used to treat itchy eyes caused mainly by allergens. An antihistamine blocks the effects of allergy producing agents called histamines. There is a thin, clear layer covering the eyeballs and inner aspect of your eyelid called conjunctiva. When this layer faces irritation due to exposure to allergens pollen, pets, or dust the condition is called as allergic conjunctivitis. Optivar comes from a class of drugs called H1 -receptor antagonists. When the symptoms range from mild to moderate, it is used as the first line of treatment. It is usually prescribed for children aged 12 years and for adults. These days you get cheap Optivar from online chemists overnight.

Optivar Side Effects and Precautions

Azelastine hydrochloride often leads to side effects like burning or stinging in the eyes. If these last for a couple of minutes, it is better to quickly consult your physician. You may experience a bitter taste in the mouth but this does not last long. Fever and flu like symptoms are some of the serious side effects caused by Azelastine hydrochloride. Allergic reactions include rash, difficulty in breathing and dizziness.

However, these are not so common. Do let your doctor know about your allergies, especially to preservatives. Do not buy Optivar if you are using contact lenses since it causes discoloration of your contact lenses. Pregnant and breast feeding mothers should inform the doctor about whether they are using this generic drug before initiating treatment with Optivar.

Wash your hands with an antiseptic soap prior to using the drops and avoid contact with the dropper tip with your hands or your eye to prevent contamination.
