Prograf Information
Prograf is a drug used for immune-suppression. It is used primarily after the organ transplants (allogneic). The drug is used for the prophylactic therapy in patients receiving organ transplant. It helps in the prophylaxis of rejection in an organ transplant. The generic drug is effective in reducing the activity of the immune system in patients who have undergone a transplant. The drug reduces the production of IL-2 (interleukin-2) by the T-cells. Thus, the drug lowers the risk of organ rejection in patients (recipients) after a transplant. Now it is easy to obtain cheap Prograf drugs from various contracted pharmacies but it needs a doctor's prescription.
