Ranexa is referred to as an anti-angina drug. The drug is used for treating patients having chronic angina. The drug may be used alone or with other agents such as nitrates, beta blockers, CCBs (calcium channel blockers), ACE inhibitors, lipid-lowering therapy, anti-platelet therapy or angiotensin-receptor blocker. Dosage Information For Ranexa

The dose of Ranexa is recommended on the basis of the clinical symptoms presented by the patient. However, the initial dose is recommended to be 500 mg which is administered twice daily. Besides, the dose is increased to 1000 mg based on the patient's symptoms and response. This dose of 1000 mg is also taken daily twice. However, the dose should not exceed more than 1000 mg.
