General Information on Stugeron

Stugeron is used for controlling travel sickness. The active ingredient in the medicine is Cinnarizine, and it comes under the category of antihistamines. In some cases, this medicine can also be used for treating symptoms of an inner ear disorder such as Maniere’s disease.

Stugeron works by blocking muscarinic and histamine receptors in your brain’s vomiting center. In this way, the vomiting centre does not receive nerve messages from vestibular apparatus. Due to this, disturbances in the middle ear do not active the vomiting centre and feelings of vertigo, vomiting and nausea are prevented.

Your doctor may also advise you to buy Stugeron in order to relieve spinning sensations, dizziness, vomiting, nausea and ringing in ears associated with Maniere’s disease. The medicine is available in the form of oral tablets.
