Invanz Information
Invanz is an antibiotic classified under beta-lactams which can be used by adults in the prevention and treatment of many diseases caused by common gram-positive and gram-negative aerobic and anaerobic bacteria. It is also used to treat community-acquired pneumonia, infection of abdomen, skin, urinary tract, kidneys and post-surgical gynecological infections. It works by blocking the formation of bacterial cell walls, thus causing cell death. Invanz comes in a once-daily injectable form, which has to be reconstituted and diluted before administration. Invanz Side Effects and Precautions
The side effects of Ertapenem Sodium include diarrhea, vein complications at the infused site, nausea, headache and vaginal inflammation in females. Dosage Information For Invanz
The dose of cheap Invanz in patients aged 13 years and above is 1 gm given once a day. The dosage of Invanz in younger patients depends on the body weight. Those between 3 months and 12 years of age are given 15 mg/kg twice a day. This should not exceed 1 gm/day. It may also be infused as IV over 30 minutes for up to 14 days or as intramuscular injection for up to 7 days as required.
