Activella Information

Activella is a drug with 2 components namely nor-ethindrone and estradiol. It is used for the treatment of vasomotor symptoms which are moderate to severe in nature. The drug is effective in treating the vasomotor symptoms that are associated to menopause. The drug is also used to prevent osteoporosis which occurs after menopause. The generic drug acts by modulating the secretion of the pituitary gland which includes luteinizing hormone (LH), gonadotropins and follicle stimulating hormones (FSH).
