Axid is a drug with the generic name nizatidine, which belongs to the drug class known as histamine-2 blockers. This particular drug reduces the level of stomach acid. This medical condition is characterized by the backing up of acid stomach to the esophagus.

Axid is available in the form of Pulvules, which are gelatin capsules containing the medication. This medicine can be bought in 2 strengths- Axid 150mg and Axid 300mg.
