Description of Estrogel
Estrogel is used to treat symptoms of menopause such as hot flashes, itching, burning and vaginal dryness. The generic name of the drug is Estradiol Topical.

Indications & Dosage of Estrogel
Estrogel is a clear, colorless drug that contains an estrogen hormone called estradiol.
The recommended dosage of Estrogel is 1.25 g per day. You must use the drug at the same time every day to get the best results. Don’t apply Estrogel directly on your breasts, face or vagina. Make sure that the gel does not come in direct contact with your eyes, nose and lips. If the gel gets into the eyes, wash it with warm water. If you miss a dose of Estrogel, take it as soon as you remember. Don’t take a double dose of Estrogel. In case of an overdose or double dose, seek immediate medical attention. The symptoms of an overdose are vomiting, stomach pain, vaginal bleeding, drowsiness and breast tenderness.
You must store Estrogel at room temperature away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture. Keep it away from the reach of children. Don’t keep Estrogel near a fire, as it is an inflammable medication. Don’t smoke while administering the gel.

- Dizziness, drowsiness, headache and migraine pain
