Dosage of K Dur
Your doctor will give you specific instructions regarding the dosage. You can take the K Dur tablet with or without food. Take the medication with a glass of water. Swallow the tablet whole, do not suck it as it may cause irritation in your throat.
If you are not able to swallow the tablet then you can dissolve it in 4 ounces of water and drink the suspension after the tablet fully disintegrates into it. Drink additional glass of water after drinking the solution in which K Dur was dissolved.
Interactions
K Dur may potentially interact with other medications you are using and cause side effects. It may interact with medications such as ACE inhibitors, Eplerenone, Quinidine, Digoxin, bronchodilators, or diuretics.
