Oracea is tetracycline antibiotic used to treat the blemishes caused by rosacea in adults. It works by inhibiting the production of certain proteins produced by bacteria and reduces skin inflammation caused by rosacea. It is preferable to take one 40 mg capsule of Oracea once a day in the morning on an empty stomach one hour before or two hours after meals.
